Jennifer Garner doesn’t always post on her official Facebook page. But when she does, it’s regarding important things like the 10th anniversary of Juno, her testimony before Congress about Save the Children, or a People magazine cover story about her and ex Ben Affleck. On Wednesday, People ran a story with the very bold headline, “Jennifer Garner Isn’t Ready to Date After Divorce: ‘Ben Was the Love of Her Life.'” The cover was also pretty ridiculous.

At no point is Jennifer quoted in the story – it’s an “insider” thing. But something about the story struck a sour note with the actress, who slammed the magazine with the most epic note. According to Jennifer, while it’s common for her to have to explain to “loved ones” that she isn’t in fact pregnant “with twins! – (Geez Louise),” People’s story stands out above the other headlines. “This isn’t a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom’s garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight: I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article,” she wrote. “While we are here, for what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete.”

People has since issued a statement standing by its “fair and truthful” story, which, the magazine says, “does not include rumors and does not say she’s pregnant,” according to the Associated Press.

Jennifer and Ben announced their split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The former couple have since spoken about each other in high regard in various interviews and have continued to spend time together with their children for the holidays and birthdays. In a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer candidly spoke about her relationship with Ben and rumors that he had cheated on her with their nanny Christine Ouzounian. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation,” Jennifer said at the time. “Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives… It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”
Jennifer officially filed for divorce this past February, only to have People report one month later that their split was off the table. TMZ sources quickly followed up and shared “direct knowledge” of the break up, noting that the divorce was still “very much on.”
