A Wife Made Her Husband Wear a Hilarious Lost and Found Tag When Traveling Alone

This couple is giving a whole new meaning to “lost without you.”In 23 years, Jim Gip has never gone on a trip without his wife — until now. Before traveling to Las Vegas, Gip’s wife, Kim, fashioned him a safety badge, just in case he got lost/hungry/confused. The badge reads: “My name is Jim. If I look lost, please call my wife Kim Gip. If I am in a restaurant just staring at the menu, pleasure order me some sort of Asian food, especially white rice. I’ve never been away from my wife who does everything for me.”Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

My mom made this for my dad because he’s going to Vegas this weekend without her  pic.twitter.com/0QFtBeWi2q— Brandon Gip (@thegip03) October 5, 2016

Most PopularKim texted a picture of the badge to her son, Brandon, who then posted it on Twitter. “My mom and her friend Patty came up with a funny idea to make the name tag thing as a joke,” Brandon told ABC News. “My mom then texted me a picture of it and I thought it was hilarious … The tweet going viral onto Facebook and Instagram is still a shock to all of us.”Brandon didn’t expect the social media torrent following his Twitter post — which is probably why he forgot to blur out his mom’s phone number on the badge. “Not knowing my tweet would go viral, I didn’t blur out my mom’s phone number … Besides the fact that my mom’s phone has gone off the hook, we are starting to enjoy the reality of it as people think the tweet is entertaining.”Brandon’s tweet has been retweeted over 70,000 times. But hey, forget social media attention. We just hope Jim Gip, wherever he may be, is doing okay without his wife and that he’s alive, well, and (of course), fed.
